Seeking Community Input for ESEA Applications for SY 2026-2027

SFPS will be submitting applications under Federal Programs for ESEA Title I, II, III and Title IV, AND Title VI programs this spring. We welcome community input on our application.

The SFPS Board of Education and the Superintendent invite public input regarding potential temporary solutions and related issues affecting the EJ Martinez community. Please submit comments via email to Public_forum@sfps.k12.nm.us by 4:00 p.m. on January 28.

Please note that the Study Session will not have a Public Forum. The Board of Education and the Superintendent are committed to reviewing all comments prior to the January 29 study session.

Great news from SFPS! 📚 Student reading proficiency grew to 42%, continuing our upward trend, while math proficiency held steady at 22% for 2024–25.

Reminder! All students must have required vaccines or an approved exemption to attend school. This is especially important for Pre-K, 7th, and 12th grade students. Free immunizations are available through SFPS, with walk-in clinics on July 25, July 30, and August 6.

As a precautionary measure following PNM's notice of a potential power shutdown on Thursday, March 6 (due to high winds), Santa Fe Public Schools will implement the District’s inclement weather procedures and shift to a remote learning and work day. This will allow us to ensure the health and safety of all.
